It's official! The International Waterski and Wakeboard Tournament Council announced yesterday that Malibu Boats team athlete Regina Jaquess’ world record has been approved. The record was achieved behind Malibu’s all-new Response TXi in its second tournament appearance on November 5, where Regina ran three and a half buoys at 41’ off.
Possibly the most difficult challenge set for Product Design and Engineering team at Malibu, the original Response TXi reigned as the world's premier ski boat for five years, with ten world records set behind it. Many considered it ski perfection. An evolution of this model would require "The adjustment or changes in behavior, physiology, and structure of an organism to become more suited to an environment. " would this be possible, incredibly, the new Malibu Response TXi proves it was....
